Holly’s Prize-Winning Recipe:
Sweet and Spicy Baked Shrimp with Angel Hair Pasta
1/4 cup Olive Oil
2 tablespoons lemon juice
3 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons soy sauce
3 tablespoons chopped parsley
1 tablespoon Creole seasoning
1 pound uncooked large shrimp, peeled and deveined
Angel Hair Pasta, prepared according to package directions
Combine the Olive Oil, lemon juice, honey, soy sauce, Creole seasoning, with two of the tablespoons of chopped parsley in a 9x13" baking dish and mix well. Add the shrimp and mix until well coated. Marinate in the refrigerator for 15 minutes. Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Bake at 450 degrees for 10 minutes or until shrimp are cooked through. While shrimp are cooking prepare Angel Hair Pasta according to package directions. Serve shrimp atop pasta, and drizzle the flavorful sauce over top. Sprinkle with remaining parsley. Serve with crusty French bread to soak up any of the remaining sauce.
